About Us:

Our Community

Tecumseth Pines is a development of 184 single-family detached homes built on a 74-acre site leased by Parkbridge Lifestyle Communities, Inc. We are located at number 8270, Highway 9, just east of Tottenham Road, midway East and West between Newmarket and Orangeville and midway North and South between Alliston and Bolton.  The Tecumseth Pines development offers an active adult lifestyle not far from Newmarket and close to the Hills of Headwaters tourist area.

The Tecumseth Pines Homeowners Association (TPHA), formed in 1990, is responsible for representing the general interests of the residents to the landlord, governments and other organizations. The TPHA's function is social and advisory in nature. Several committees have been established, including a Social Committee which organizes monthly brunches, special events, parties and dances. A quarterly newsletter, Whispering Pines, is also published.

We are part of the town of New Tecumseth, Simcoe County.  This is a rural area and, if country living is a new experience for you, you may find it quite a pleasant change in your lifestyle.

Our residents come from all walks of life and range in age from the youngsters (55?) to seniors.  Most will share their experiences with you and will give you a hand if you need it.  Many have moved from the surrounding areas and have a lot of local knowledge regarding services and facilities.

There are many activities available here, in addition to the many activities organised by the TPHA, there are walking trails in the county forest adjoining the site to the west.  The lower pond is stocked with trout and there are always birds and animals to watch, while you enjoy the solace of a quiet summer afternoon.

Many facilities such as the exercise equipment, workshop, pool, tennis courts and billiard room are there for your enjoyment. Our Recreation Centre has been recently renovated to enlarge the main hall, kitchen and washrooms and to make it more wheelchair accessible with the addition of a lift. We have added a deck overlooking the lower pond.
